Tailormadecovers make up customers own fabrics only.

When supplying your own fabric, please make sure the material is suitable for loose covers, your supplier will confirm, or contact us for advice.

Cloth with velvet pile and heavy glazing  does not make for good loose covers. Please call for advice,  before purchasing any unusual fabric.

Printed and embossed fabrics,  lend themselves well to loose covers,  as the rigors of  every day use will be less noticeable.

Linen, linen cotton mixtures and cotton fabrics generally wash or dry clean and offer good service.

If your existing furniture is upholstered in Dralon velvet , leather or vinyl,  please call for advice,  as this is not a suitable surface for loose covers to go over.
